NHow Lima: 5 Perks From Peru’s Most Instagrammable Hotel

Let me start by saying: I didn’t mean to find NHow Lima.
In fact, I was already happily booked into another hotel—The Ikonik- a solid, no-nonsense spot across the street. (More on that one in another post—it was great for a solo traveler.) But it was during one of those everyday moments—coffee in hand, easing into the morning—that I looked up and saw this crazy place.
A sleek high-rise. Playful, bold signage. A brightly branded car parked out front like a set piece. Inside the glass doors, I glimpsed neon and what looked like a living art installation: color, light, whimsy, and a very club-looking front desk.
Each time I passed, I had a new guess as to what it was. A boutique ad agency? A concept store?
Finally, I gave up and asked the valet attendant.
All my guesses were wrong. It was a hotel!
What? How could I––the woman who had been in deep research mode for the past 3 weeks solid–– not have seen it anywhere in my exhaustive hotel search.
Well, that’s because it had opened about 6 days before I arrived.
Curiosity (and Breakfast) Led Me In

My lodging was already sorted, of course, but curiosity wouldn’t let me let go. So, I decided to have breakfast at the NHow that next morning—figuring I could at least soak in the vibe from the lobby and dining area.
Truth be told, it felt so clubby, I wasn’t even sure they’d let me in! But they did, and it was amazing.
I opted for the full breakfast experience –– and what I got for my $33 wasn’t just a beautifully curated buffet filled to the brim with exotic fruits, fresh bread, epic coffee, made-to-order eggs, and the most unique tropical jello shots (sans alcohol) topped with perfectly sweetened chia pudding that you could imagine. I also got a personalized tour around the hotel.
From the minute you walk in, you just have the feeling that you’ve stumbled onto something truly special. Something most people haven’t found out about yet.
This place didn’t just look good. It felt good.
Bold Design, Real Comfort

Let’s get this out of the way: I love beauty. I appreciate design. But if I have to choose between a bland, clean room and a super-designed one inside a hotel with poor management or subpar comfort, I’m choosing boring every time.
The amazing news is that the NHow doesn’t make you choose. It’s not form or function. It’s both.
The public spaces are a feast for the senses—neon lights streaking across the ceiling, Peruvian-inspired art everywhere, and a massive alpaca sculpture in the lobby wearing sunglasses like he owns the place. And yet… it never feels forced.
Even better, the rooms deliver. Plush bedding. Thoughtful layout. Blackout curtains. Rainfall showers. Locally sourced bath products. It’s the kind of space you want to take pictures and actually sleep in.
The Real Showstopper? The Staff

Now here’s where NHow truly sets itself apart.
I wasn’t even a guest—but after breakfast, my waiter, Renzo, and Eduardo from the front desk offered to give me a full tour. They walked me through rooms, pointed out small design details (did you know there’s a Pac-Man motif in the hallway wallpaper?), and beamed with pride as they showed me the rooftop pool.
They made me feel not just welcome—but seen. Like I was part of something they were excited to share. That’s rare. And honestly, it made the whole place shine brighter.
A Rooftop Escape with a Mosaic Pool

Upstairs, the rooftop pool is tiled like a mosaic and shimmers under Lima’s soft sky. Whether you’re swimming laps or lounging with a cocktail, it feels a bit like stumbling onto a private club you didn’t know you had access to.
It’s peaceful. Playful. Gorgeous. And—like the rest of the hotel—it invites you to stay a little longer than you planned.
A Note on Location (Because It Matters)
NHow Lima sits in the heart of Miraflores, one of the city’s safest, most walkable neighborhoods. You’re steps from Kennedy Park, artisan markets, the Malecón, and countless cafes and shops. For anyone visiting Lima for the first (or fifth) time, this is the neighborhood you want to be in—and this hotel gives you a front-row seat.
For the Traveler Who Wants Personality and Practicality

This isn’t just a hotel for Instagram. (Though yes, you’ll absolutely get great shots.)
This is a hotel that shows up beautifully across the board: in service, in comfort, in hospitality, in location. If you’ve ever felt torn between the cool hotel and the right one, this is where you stop choosing. NHow Lima delivers both.
Bottom line?
Come for the design. Stay for the people. Leave wishing you had booked just one more night.
